This 1:12 scale model celebrates the extraordinary Ferrari Arno XI hydroplane, a unique fusion of automotive and nautical engineering. Commissioned by Italian engineer and racing driver Achille Castoldi, the Arno XI was constructed in 1953 by Cantieri Timossi on Lake Como. It was powered by a Ferrari 375 F1 V12 engine, modified with twin superchargers to produce over 600 horsepower. On October 15, 1953, Castoldi set a world speed record of 241.708 km/h (150.19 mph) on Lake Iseo in the 800 kg class a record that still stands today.

This meticulously crafted model captures the sleek design and engineering excellence of the original hydroplane. It features a polished mahogany hull and authentic detailing, embodying the spirit of innovation and performance that defines Ferrari’s legacy.

Delivery Times and Costs

– International Shipping – 4 to 5 business days (excluding customs clearance), Monday to Friday – €40.00. Business days are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding public holidays.

– Delivery times may vary depending on export documentation. Shipments requiring CITES certificates will involve additional costs and preparation time.

– Customs clearance may cause delays. Vèlle Milano cannot guarantee a precise delivery date for shipments subject to inspection.

– Personalised items will be delivered within approximately 5 working weeks.

– All shipments are handled by DHL. A confirmation email will be sent upon dispatch. An adult’s signature is required upon delivery. If delivery is unsuccessful after three consecutive attempts, a notice with further instructions will be provided.

– Orders are shipped under Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) terms. Import duties and taxes are not included and are the customer’s responsibility.
